#3. Bright side of life

There are many, many, many beautiful, funny, good and amazing things in life. I want to share some the small wonders of this world I found on the web with you every week or month or so. Just to let you know that the world is a beautiful place :)

Just before leaving for my vacation to Romania, I'd like to share some nice things with you: a great French artist, A creative advertisement and a delicious picture.

Painting by Francoise Nielly
Francoise Nielly
Bright and colourful those are the words that popped to my mind when I first saw this painting. Soon I found out who made this wonderful painting a French madame named Francoise Nielly. Although the paintings look sort of rough, there's also a lot of detail in them. And I do love the fluroscent colours used. Oh, and they're quite a size most of the time.Would love to see her paintings in real life, but for now I'll need a to get a ticket to Paris. More info you can find on her website: http://www.francoise-nielly.com/ and more paintings are on her MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/jaunefluo

Creative advertisement
Now that's interactive advertisement in a whole new way (at least to me). There's actually water in there! Like the advertisement and I like the money in this case. Not to have it, but the way it's used here. Here's where I got it (there are plenty more examples): http://www.funniest-commercials.net/2010/06/creative-money-advertising.html

A picture made by the writer of this note
Tiramisu
And to close this note off, just back from Rome I just have to put this delicious picture in. Yes it was as good as it looks. No, it's not as big as is looks (about a medium size coffeemug).
